中心简介

西安交通大学材料学院材料创新设计中心成立于2021年1月，依托西安交通大学金属材料强度国家重点实验室、材料科学与工程学院，以中国西部科技创新港为平台，以解决合金创新中遇到的基础科学问题为目的，探索新合金材料设计的新思路。致力于打造一流的材料设计平台（智库），根据复杂服役环境制备出兼具高性能、满足高要求的新型合金材料，产出有较大国际影响的学术思想和成果。

材料创新设计中心现有领军学者2人、国家四青人才5人、教授2人、特聘研究员2人、副教授2人、助理教授1人、实验员2人与行政科研助理2人，主要研究方向包括高熵合金、相变存储、类脑计算、非晶合金、二维材料、能源材料、3D打印等，以CAID为主要单位已发表学术论文近200篇，部分成果发表于Science、Nature、Nat Mater、PNAS等高水平期刊上。

The Center for Alloy Innovation and Design (CAID) was founded in January 2021 as a new center affiliated with the State Key Laboratory for Mechanical Behavior of Materials, in the School of Materials Science and Engineering at Xi’an Jiaotong University. Ushered in by the recent advent of the Western China Science & Technology Innovation Harbor, CAID’s mission is to establish a first-class materials design platform for exploring innovative alloys to meet complex service demands, and for solving fundamental science problems underlying high-performance materials. CAID is committed to producing scholarly products that have high impact in the international materials community.

At present, the CAID faculty includes 12 faculty members, whose main research interests include high-entropy alloys, phase-change memory, neuro-inspired computing, amorphous alloys, low-dimensional materials, energy materials and 3D printing. The faculty members at CAID have established a strong track record in the above fields, with many publications in top-flight journals including Science, Nature, Nature Materials and PNAS.
